Down a dusty road and along a beaten track in an old bush cabin set amid a cluster of windswept river red gums and twisted metal and memorabilia, singer-songwriter Glenn Skuthorpe has settled in to record his sixth album.
The self-produced independent acoustic album will feature Skuthorpe’s considerable talents as a compelling lyricist and multi-instrumentalist. First single release ‘More than a Half Light’ is no exception with Glenn intimately tracking vocals, banjo, acoustic and electric guitars with all recordings by Katie Symes and mix and mastering by Colin Wynne at Thirty Mills Studios.
The single release follows quickly on the heals of Skuthorpe’s most recent release ‘See My World’. This highly acclaimed self-produced studio band album was nominated for a series of best album awards in 2017 and is evocative of the wide-open road with its roots-rock sound, demanding the listener lean in closer, get on their feet and come along for the ride.
‘More than a Half Light’ single release date April 7, 2018.
